Out of the ashes of their former bands “Knuckl”, “Left In Ruins”, “Fast Eddie” and “Only Hell Remains”, this local super group continues with a clear and distinct vision; to create a sound that would transcend the predictable formulas set by popular music culture and radio. Their goal: to maintain integrity and adhere to the intense and aggressive nature of heavy metal while carving out their own place within the genre.

Starting on that long path of growth that many bands never even begin and demolishing stages all over, bringing a following of old school fans and recruiting new faces to their ever-growing fanbase everywhere they went. PineBox collectively share over 30 years on the scene, this band doesn't compromise the integrity of their music for anyone. Relying on nothing but themselves and their instruments (no flashy production or effects), with fast and heavy riffs, insane breakdowns, and brutal, confrontational vocals, all with one objective in mind; creating the hardest, fastest and most powerful brand of New Wave American Metal!

Over the years they’ve shared the stage with the likes of Slayer, Testament, Anthrax, Suffocation, Goatwhore, Trivium, Otep, Full Blown Chaos, Nuclear Assault, Hatebreed, Biohazard, Prong, Vital Remains, Cradle of Filth, The Misfits, Black Dahlia Murder, Unearth, Gojira, Powerman 5000, Mushroomhead, Winds of Plague (just to name a few) and played legendary venues such as CBGBs, L’Amour (Brooklyn), Chicago House of Blues, Irving Plaza, The Chance, Toad’s Place, Roseland Ballroom as well as touring abroad.  So, if you're tired of listening to the same old, watered down, trendy metal bullshit....then this is the band for you!

PineBox uses and abuses: Shure Microphones, Marshall Amplification, Mesa Boogie, ESP Guitars, Carvin/Kiesel Basses, Dunlop Picks , Mapex Drums, Soultone Cymbals, Gibraltar Hardware, Trick Pedals, Humes and Berg Cases, StickPro, Xcel Drumsticks, Soldano
